Denying The Sol

HAVE ANY OF YOU SEEN THE NEW LAMBO KITS SOME COMPANY IS MAKING FOR THE CIVICS? NOT INSTRUCTIONS THAT YOU SEE SOLD ON EBAY FOR 5$ THE KITS THAT BOLT ON JUST LIKE AN INTAKE. WELL TO MY DISSAPOINTMENT THEY ARE CURRENTLLY NOT DEVELOPING A KIT FOR THE DEL SOL. JUST LIKE WITH SEVERAL OTHER THINGS THAT PART MAKERS REFUSE TO MAKE FOR THE DEL SOL. I CANT EVEN FIND A DAMN A PILLAR MOUNTED GAUGE POD FOR MY CAR. BUT EVERY CIVIC OR FORD FOCUS OWNER I KNOW SEEMS TO HAVE ONE. JUST BECAUSE THEY STOPED MAKING THE DEL SOL IN 97 DOSENT MEAN ITS NOT A FORCE TO BE RECOND WITH. SHIT I WOULD RATHER HAVE MY SOL ANY DAY EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A SHITY D16Z. WITH GROUND F/X THE DEL SOL CAN BE ONE OF THE (SIC)IST LOOKING CARS OUT THERE ITS ALREADY A BAD ASS CAR FROM THE FACTORY. SO WHY DO THEY REFUSE TO MAKE PARTS FOR THEM I DONT KNOW MAYBE ONE OF YOU COULD TELL ME?

First off. Take your caps lock off.
Second. Yes they make a lambo kit for the sol. But I'm not telling you who makes it. BECAUSE I HATE CAPS LOCKS!!! y0

Lambo doors? ewwwww, save those for the lowriding mini truck drivers and LJ Garcia-like peeps. I guess it's all good if you want to add another 150-200 pounds easy to your ride.

You honestly think that it's just an offset hinge? You think a hinge alone is going to hold that door up in the air on an angle without eventually bending or breaking? Come on man. Have more sense then that. You are going to have to add reinforcements to keep all that stuff together. Think about it.

Oh but it will, and very quickly. Remember the supports are going to have to be extremely strong to hold the weight of that door up and do so for an extended time.

agreed man
I highly suggest if you are trying not to add lots of weight. Don't get the kit.

The rare and majestic quadruple post. Haven't seen one of those in a loooong time.

Anyway, with a targa top, I don't use doors any more. So since they don't open, they don't need to look cool when they...uh..open.

P.S. Those big rectangular white things in the autoloc picture are scary.
