it's under the dash by the fuse panel...

stick your head under there you'll see it... cut the wires to it.

I don't get it. What is "it"? because I have listened under there and I can't tell exactly where its coming from. Could you tell me what color the connector is or something like that?

one your stock radio there are 2 connectors. 1 has all those colored wires that i listed in the other post and is also smaller than the other one (i think it is to the right of the main radio connector if you are looking at the radio from the top).

The gray wire in that smaller set is connected to the horn. All you have to do is cut it and splice it 4 times and run it to the lights of your choice. This way the signal only goes to the lights and not the horn.

You can also do it by holding OPTION until the red light flashes on your remote, release and then press the lock button. But this will only lock the doors and you have to listen for them to latch (or check the handle) and thats a pain in the ass.

Hope this helps

If you still dont get it just IM me on AIM (PDiggityDogg) or post another thing here and I'll see what I can do to help you more.

tell me what year your car is and if it's 92-95 I'll look it up in my helms tonight....

if not someone else out there should have one for your year.

It looks like a relay if you know what that looks like. If you can't tell where it is it's best to find out for sure. so get back with the year and I'll look it up tonight.

ok this is what i heard: the 96-98 civics have the dome lights, the keyless entries controlled by the factory radio, while on the later models they separated the units, so what pdiggitydogg might not apply to yours

Ya they're expensive but there far and away worth it and superiour to other companies manuals.

the chilton's and the haynes for my car were dirt.

Post a new message with "for helms manual owners" in the thread title.

good luck

OH MY GOD

I totally forgot... you can just take out the door sensor and cut the two wires that are attached to it and tie'm togeter.. that way it'll always think the door is closed.

sorry cross that there's only 1 wire. you'd have to close the switch permanently some how.
