swaps?

i have a 2000 civic hatch dx (auto tranny)...

well i wanna swap in an engine later...but would be more of a hassle to change it into a 5spd or should i just find another civic hatch that is 5spd already????....any info (especially facts or experience would be helpful)....not opinions or "my brother's friend's cousin's sister's boyfriend did a swap" or somethin like that......heh heh....

but yea...thx for your help!

the swaps are gonna come up with a new tranny so keep the car you have. it's not that hard to convert it.

ya of course it's "better" to start off with a manual (well if yer hydro and convert to cable or vice versus it's still a pain.) but if you don't have that then start with what youve got. unless you can trade someone for a standard.

a lot of the places that sell swaps sell the stuff it takes to convert from auto to stick for another 2-600 bucks
