tried to jac my lude!!!
uhhh this makes me soooooooo mad!! ok yesterday my car was fine, i went out there and started it like i do everyday... it was fine!! but when i went out there today after school, i looked thu the window and flipped... i guess when i locked it yesterday for some reason one of the doors dident lock, or "they" slim-jimed it?? idk?? but anyway "they" broke out the colum, and from what i can tell, they tried to stick a screw driver where the key goes... now that is messed up sooo bad that i cant even put my key in there!! needless to say i am P.O! And if i ever find out who did this, i am going to shot them in the shins!

wow that really blows for you man. just file a report and see if your insurance will cover it. most of the time on your policy should be theft and vandalism. i know my car has it

maybe an alarm would be a good investment. wire in a fuel cutoff. THis way once you finally swap in your new engine you wont come out in the morning to an empty parking space.

leave a sharp knife pointed out wedged in between the upper and lower part of your seat... it could've... I mean DID just fall out of your pocket... not like it was your fault...
Course cleaning up robber blood out of your car probobly won't be that fun. course thinking about some thief dick with a bloody cut up ass would be well worth it.... oh and a little note like "tainted blade" on the dash would be a little extra mind F. a friend of mine used to put pins in the back of his seat so if you sat in it w/o knowing where they were you'd have a bunch of pinholes in your back.

wow that's something. on my car they can try to tow it if they want, but it's not gonna work. when i had trouble with it and i had to get it towed they just couldn't tow the car without some banging on the front bumper and the crossbones because it was waaaaay to low

My car was in 1st nose in with the ebrake on... they weren't too concerned with damaging my car... trust me if they wanted your acccord they'd just lift it till it tore off the bumper and drive off.

well i looked at it again and the bumper is about 1" higher than the front crossbone and the cb is at the same lever with the tranny and the oil pan so if they decide to tow it they will end up with more than 2500 in damages for the car. i dunno. hopefully i will never get to know how it is or what will break if they decide to tow it.

ya word... my tranny is shot from being dragged in gear.
and there's no way to get that covered by insurance cuz it doesn't go for a LONG time after it happens. sucks.

Yeah I like the knife idea.....but don't shoot anybody in the shins, if you're gonna shoot 'em kill 'em or else you're probably getting sued.
Man sucks to hear this, but at least the car didn't get taken. Towing is the problem with all the anti-theft systems, so far there's no great way to prevent it.... b |

yea lol.. i wanted to keep my dog in there.. he comes knee high on me.. (and i am 6.0 ft.) and weights over 100..haha thay would be surprised! "Towing is the problem with all the anti-theft systems, so far there's no great way to prevent it...." luxus has started on the idea... say if you park it, and hit the lock button.. the doors lock and all that.. but also it turns on a sensor that can tell if the car is being pick up.. or is being pulled.. its a start...

once I have my own driveway... I plan on running a DEEP couple set of posts... then chain my car to the ground with some BIG shackles around the chains so you can't cut the chains. that ought to do it...
the other good idea I had was a motorized wheel chock that puts itself in place when you park the car... make it so there's NO way to cut it but that'd be a LOT of weight to drag around.

Yeah you can get tilt sensors (basically a mercury switch) for DEI alarms.....but really, alarms don't keep your car from being stolen. Half the cars I've ever seen towed have had the alarms blaring, and they were being towed legally...... Who pays attention to alarms these days? When companies advertise the panic button as "great for finding your car in a crowded parking lot cuz you can't remember where you parked" they became about as useful as antibiotics for colds. A 24hr. armed guard who won't rob you himself probably is the most reliable theft protection system for when you're not at home. Whaddya think, 10 gauge with slugs sound good enough? b |

I'd like to catch someone tryin to take my car.
well, i'd probably just cry and run....i'm not sure...when a woman backed into it i jumped out ready to beat the crap outta her. I really like the knife idea, lol. Knowing me I'd forget it was there and then...yeah. It's hearing about this sorta thing that makes me thankful I live where I do...this stuff doesn't happen much around here. on the icky side, where i live is also lame. hmm. |
