Exactly... The bottom ends for the water cooled 600/750 Gixxers are pretty much the same. I tore it apart when I got it and changed out the crank, head, and cylinder block.

I was originally gonna drop an 1127 into it, but I couldn't find one for less than 2 grand unless it was in piss poor shape.

Thanks Accord Man. I'm planning on changing it though.

Once I get the time to mess with it, I'll polish the frame & have the fairings painted Pearl Black w/ red, blue, and yellow Chameleon flames.

Yea buddy, I used to have a CBR 750! Then I moved on to a smaller and more tame nija 600. Lots of fun, I blew up the ninja, I guess you cant rev them above 10k without problems. I sucked a valve down into the cylinder head. NOT GOOD! What was worse was I was riding a wheelie at the time, almost bucked me right off the bike. If I were to get another it would be a GSXR for sure, I hear that they are hella reliable!

Nice bike, I'm jealous. I've always wanted a bike, but never had the money to buy one.

Can't rev a Ninja past 10K??? Hmmm... I'v done it many times, especially on a 600. You might have needed a valve adjustment pretty badly. If the valves were ay out of spec, then the the lifters comming down on the valves at high revs would hammer the shit outta the retainers & drop one right through the head.

Actually, Gixxers aren't really all that reliable... But they are the most potent sport bikes aside from Aprilla's .

If you want reliability, Honda is what you want, for straight Performance Zook is the only way to go.

No, actually they're reliable as a Honda, the frames tend to bend into garbage really easy though.

I used to have a 2nd hand R1 that would never track right, & I found out the frame was bent somethin like 1.5" cause it fell over in the guys garage.
