question about CAI
new to HS.
would like info if possible. I have a 98 civic lx sedan, AT and a friend of mine gave me his AEM CAI off of his 96 ex coupe, MT. will this still work on my car? thank you to all that help. |

My 96 LX has a top mount tb and I'm assuming your's is the same way? If it is, no cause the EX has a side mount tb and the piping won't line up.

it wont work. AEM makes different intakes for lx and ex. also his is m/t which would make it worse.

But thats correct lx has a verical tb, opposed to the ex horizontal |

I am running the ITR CAI on my H22'd Civic. It fits perfect with no cutting whatsoever. Lots of intakes are very similar between car to car. Just learn what will work and what wont work. Just my .02 cents. |
