remove amber?
Quick question for anyone with an accord similar to my year, in the outer tailight housing, there is a amber case set inside the actual tailight that makes the light appear amber (for turn signals) I've seen an Accord my year around here with that amber casing removed and I would really like to know just how I might go about this.
heard that I may have to take a hair dryer to it and melt the seal away, but I want a somewhat better example about this so I don't try and screw something up, help me out guys/girls |

It's easy bro. I used a dremel w/tile cutting bit and some needle nose pliers. That orange piece is clipped in, but you can't get it out w/o cutting it. Start cutting it, being careful not to damage the edge of the bulb housing. Once you cut it down, get ur needle nose and pull out the pieces. After you get it all out, ur gonna need to spray out the tail light w/high pressure air hose to get all the shavings out.
Very easy, just takes a lil patience. |
