An lsd is going to cost around $800 plus the install is really expensive. I would suggest getting a lightened flywheel if you want to stay around $500. I haven't really heard that many bad things about flywheels. I know they make your revs go up a lot quicker, but in turn they drop quicker also so your shifts have to be perfect. LSD's are very nice. I would like to get one in the future but will probably wait until I have enough power to actually need one.

The flywheel is a good investment. I know many people with Clutchmaster flywheels, and they are very happy. This is a wise investment on a turbo car. The faster the car revs, the quicker it gets into boost. That is ALWAYS good!

My friend has a Fidanza 8 or 9 pound fly in his N/A MR-2 and to tell you the truth, the RPMS don't drop off much at all. I hardly notice any drop compared to his stock fly. The one thing I did notice though, with the lightened flywheel, when accelerating, the car wasn't quite as smooth...
