need help????

What I Have :
99 Civic Ex, D16Y8 motor , with 68,000 miles , } My Performance Mods. -- AEM short ram air intake, 2 1/4 " Pipe, Powercore High flow cat, 3 A racing muffler.

Problem im having :
(Have had these same problems for over a year, they come and go everytime I fix something it works fine for about a week or more and then runs bad again )

The car is running rich , burns alot of fuel, has a slight miss, and not much power in 4th and 5th gear. Sometimes it hesitates in 1st and 2nd gear, after slowing down for a stop light or something.

What I have changed or Replaced , Starting with :
Fuel Filter, Plugs (NGK ) , Plug wires ( Bosche ) Cap , Rotor ( twice ) Spark ignitor ( at dealership ) (secondary) O 2 sensor, Powercore highflow cat, 2 1/4" pipe,

have had checked out or tested :
Map sensor, engine idle speed sensor, Throttle position sensor, Cleane fuel system by carbon vacumn ( twice ) cleaned Intake , Cleaned out Cat and exhaust , carbon cleaner.

So far I have spent over 1700.00 in Parts and Labor on my civic, I have had it too 3 differnt honda dealers, ALL so far refuse to work on it cuz of my performance Mods ( nothing real extreme )

I Went to one supposed Honda Speacialist ( who did the exhaust and changed the cap and rotor cuz he said they were bad) he couldnt fix it right and said he would if I wanted to spend alot more money but he couldnt do it the first 2 times I was there so.

( I live in a Very Rural area in Northcentral Pennsylvania so Tuning shops and iport performance shops & garages are very few and far between )

also I have made Numerous trips to a local garage to a friend who doesnt speacialize in imports at all but tryed his best and he is stumped as to what the problem is either.

I am not a mechanic so i dont have much of a clue when it comes to motor work, I bought a haynes manual but that didnt help much either.

I have all but given up on it , I love the car and have alot of money tied up in exterior modifcations and have won several trophies at car shows..

If anyone has ANY ideas or futher questions please ask,, I need everyone and anyones imput, as I am failing to be able to get it fixed anywhere else.. thanks
