I'm New

I'm just stopping by to drop you guys a line. I don't exactly have a civic yet, i'm still in the process of looking for an affordable stock 93-94 civic coupe. Does anyone know how much they would go for? Miles don't really matter cause i'm swapping to a H22A motor/tranny. My sister being the only female sibling is getting my daily driver (1999 Saturn SL1) for when she moves to maryland. I'm kinda glad cause i don't really want to attempt to customize the saturn( 2 much money, not enough parts readly available. My neighbor has a 93 civic and he enjoys driving it. Thanks for listening.

as for your civic pricing. it comes down to how many mile and what shape it is in. theres one by my house going for 6.5K cuase of low miles and a great body.

welcome to HS glad to have you aboard.

As for pricing you could expect to pay anywhere from 1500-6K depending on body, miles etc...
Good luck w/ your purchase and hope to see some pics of one you get soon.

Also the 92-95 Civics are the same so you know..

with the H22a im going to need to buy new motor mounts and engine axles...the total cost with motor, mounts and engine axles is going to be like $3,129.00 without shipping. My uncle is a mechanic so he will lend me the tools that i will need to do the swap and i know of a one of my friends who is a "motor head" will help me cause i helped him turbo charge his eclipse, i also have various neighbors that are willing to help me out with the car. I just have to wait till i pay my $8000 for school next year to start.

the h22 will take up alot space under hood and could cuase problems for future mod room. i do agree the best bang for you buck is a boost B18.

I can't turbo the motor that will be going into my civic, because i have to drive 45mins to and from school everyday, and that would kill me on the gas ( I suppose).engine mods for me will consist of a Intake, hot wirez thats basically all about it, I think i might look in to B18 from JDM but i dunno college comes first.

true the education is more important. but look at the factor the B series swap is cheaper and more easy to do. there for you got more time and money for school than the expensive and more time cumsuming h series swap. plus mods for the B series are lot cheaper. then the H.
