Clean and nice!

Do you have any front view pics of your engine bay?

'sup man, car looks dope. I have the exact same set up you and I was wondering if you timing belt and gears rub on the hood. I left my gear covers on because I was worried that it would rub.

If you leave the cover on, you are reducing the clearance not improving upon it.

the reason I ask is because the cover has an indent in it from the hood and if I remove it I'm sure that it would rub. Maybe it is the engine mounts that I used. I know that if I put on a couple of washers, I'll be able to lower it further. OH well. Thanks anyway.

Try this - put either a drop of white-out or little peices of poster putty (make sure the putty is small, though) on the highest points of the cams without the cover on and close the hood. If there is a mark either on the bottom of the hood, or they putty is smooshed then you will have clearance problems. At least this way you won't try your clearance with the cams exposed to eat away at your hood.
