Rear Deck Removal For Civic

You don't have to remove the rear seat but it is easier if you do.

First, remove the inside quarter panels on both sides then take

out the 4 popper things. Second, on top of the rear deck is a lock-

keyhole thing, take it out. Make sure the panels are far enough

away to remove the rear deck. When you get the rear deck out,

you have access to the 4 screws on the speakers. Third,

disconnect the wiring terminals and the speaker is out. Then,

replace the speaker with your choice of 6 X 9's and put the rear

deck in. Do everything in the reverse order and everything will

turn out great. In all, it took me about 1.5 hours to do

everything. Good luck and be patient.
