smokin lude

hey was up? I am new and i have a 88 prelude si 2.0, And lately it has been smokin a little just sitten there, And alot when i rev it. I asked my dad if he knew why it was doin' it, and he said that it was the cold air intake that i put on there, i was like WHAT!? no way! He said yea, its the same way that a paint sprayer works, air blows over the lil' tube that goes down into the jar and it pulls up the paint. And he said that the same thing is going on here, when the air goes past it, it pulls extra oil out from under the valve cover, and into the motor, And the pcv valve has been full of oil... but i really dont want to get rid of the intake..So what do i do here? And could this really be tru? Any comments welcome! thanks.

Umm... could that be true? NO

I'd check your gaskets first.

a lot of blue smoke, lol. So i know it has to do with oil gettting in there somehow..... I had an idea...Ok you know on some old non f/I slowmesticks where the pvc pipe goes into the big round thing that has the air filter in it. Well when it goes in there it passes thu a small piece of filter material that removes some of the oil. If I could rig somethin like that to help filter a little bit of the oil out then that could help, rite? thanks.
