depends what kind it is and how well it fits. if it fits perfect then you can put it on yourself, as long as you take your time and do it right. otherwise if fiberglass has to be added/removed from the bumper for it to fit right, a pro should do it.

yep totally agree with hybrid3do0rcx, if the kit is something like a wings west or xenon kit you can most likely do it yourself. However if it is something like a VIS kit you will have to have a body shop install it.

The wings west fit great, you should have no trouble putting it on your self. They come with all the hardware you need. who are you getting your kit from?

some good ideas are to get a grease pencil (i believe thats what it is called) and some tape that wont leave sticky residue on the paint......this way you line up the lips n stuff (if its even a lip kit) and then hold them on with the tape and then trace the top of it so when you go to actually attach it you can see it is lined up perfectly. oh and at least 1 friend around is very very helpful....if its just bumper replacement, easy enough to do yourself, just unbolt, remove, put on, put bolts back, step back, love it, be happy.

As long as its off good quality and the fitment is good, you shouldn't have any problems putting it on yourself. Maybe have a friend to help you but other than that, its a piece of cake.
