What pistons?

OK, I have a DOHC ZC engine waiting for some pistons and rods. I have a chance to get any D-Series piston and rod set for 50.00! What rods and pistons will give my ZC the highest compression? Im goin N/A so i need high compression.

Civic GX pistons. Any others and I'm pretty sure you'll be losing compression with the huge head volume of the zc.

Stock pistons? or Forged Pistons? If they are gonna be stock, i think CTR pistons will yield the Highest compression ratio.

What are CTR Pistons? And yes any pistons that i get will be stock D-Series Pistons. Not forged.

We're talking D series not B series.

Like I said, the ZC(along with the USDM DOHC D series engine) has the highest head volume of all the d series engines, like wise it has pistons with the largest domes, so any other d series pistons are going to lower compression, Except for the GX(civics than run on natural gas) pistons I think those have an even larger dome. Call up Honda parts department, they should know.

Your only other option is shaving the head.

only problem is you may need a vin number to order them, you also need to be a CNG authorized repair center(we are one of 2 in chicago).
