Hi im trying to take my vents off so i can paint them i can get everything but the vents with the adjusters. I got the 2 on top off the dash its the 2 that u can aim in different directions and open and close. Anyone know how to get those off. Also how do u take off the trim around the radio and climate controls? If someone could help id really appreciate it thanks!

Its more work that youre thinking it should be, ya know..but i have nothing better to do...so...crackin open the helms

here we go:
1) remove the screws that are on the lower dash panel (where the power plug/cig lighter is)
2) disconnect the air control cable from the heater unit (just look, you'll see how)
3) remove the radio, and the defroster and hazard buttons
4) unplug the heater connectors (2 of them i believe)
5) remove the 5 self-tapping screws and the center panel together with the heater panel

this is gonna just remove the whole center panel...the vents are part of that

carefull when you put it back together...make sure the settings for temperature are exactly how you left them

edit**oh yeah, if you do decide to do this, find out what size the bulbs in the heater unit are for me
thanks
