s2000 + EX = ???
me and my friends were just talking and we came up wit this idea. Could u take like a 2000 EX and swap out the engine, tranny, and axles wit that of a new s2000? We thought it would just be an interesting project, just wondering if it could be done or if any one knows of someone who has done it. I mean theres people who turbo their civics and get upwards of 300 hp but its still a FWD 5 speed. Wit this project, u could get more hp, and have the 6 spd and RWD. Like i said, i dunno if this is even possible but it would be pretty cool.

I think it's been mentioned on a previous thread, but it would be easier to put your civic body on an s2k.

I would start buy doing a fram up like with classic strret rods get a light tublar fram pun the engine in upgrade the hell out of to max out HP and drop the civic body on top. $$$$$ though but it would be worth it in the end you would have a little heavier car that would grip better with a stiffer body helps in the launch and cornering. just my 0.02

well since an RSX-R engine has been swapped into a 96-00 civic already (helloooo 6spd), im pretty sure the F20C will be done in due time. but if you dont have close to unlimited funds and resources, i wouldnt try it.

Hey Scooby EX
I just noticed you have a 2000 EX and 2001 Dakota R/T. I've got a 97' EX and a 2002 Durango R/T. This is my second Durango R/T in 2 years, Chrysler had to GIVE me the second Durango due to several technical difficulties with the 1st . Quik |

agreed RR, but the K20 in the 6g civic didnt involve as much fabrication as the NSX engine into the CRX, the car is still street legal. well both of them (the K20 6g's), i should say.
