Did any 7th gen. Civic EX's come with a factory header?

I was looking through the heat shield at the "exhaust manifold" recently and i noticed that it has individual pipes coming from each exhaust port. I took the heat shield off and it looks kinda like a cheap 4 to 1 header. Is this factory, or a poor man's after market?

I've heard that Honda puts really nice exhaust manifolds on their cars. One Civic performance book I read recommends not replacing it, that any after market headers will only give you marginal gains in HP. So, maybe it is a cheap mans after market .
