Have any of you ever loved someone who didn't love you? Just lead you on to believe that they loved you but ended up not loving you afterall? How do you stop loving someone who doesn't love you in return?

i have. she was a money hungry bitch. i knew it after the first month. but i didnt want to realize it.
how did i foget her. i just moved on. started looking for someone else. but youll never forget him/her. its burned into your memory.

I think that is a reality that all of us has faced, I know I have. I did everything for this man and I mean everything and it turns out that he was cheating on me and didn't have the balls to tell me the truth. It wasn't until he gave ME the ultimatim (?) that I give up all my male friends that I finally realized that he was controlling me. I left him and never looked back because there were other times he didn't have the balls to tell me other things as well. Long story short, you're better off moving on with your life. He never felt strong feelings for you in the first place or he would never have done what he's done. Don't try to worry too much about it because he doesn't share the same morals, never did and probably never will. He'll have to learn what he's done on his own and nothing you say or do will make him change his ways. More likely the hard way or never at all. Might I suggest finding a target, putting his name or picture on it and shooting it up at the gun range then afterwards have a fire in the fireplace and burn it. Case closed. My analysis?? You're too good for him.

Man this is a not-so-fun situation for me. Before I found the guy im dating now I was madly in love... here goes the whole story (its long so bare with me here). in October of 2002 My best friend introduced me online to his friend from basic.. (one of my weaknesses is military men).. So anywho... We talked for awhile.. an he was in Kosovo at the time.. Right away we knew we clicked and both of us spent money galore on phone bills. Valentines day he sent me a vermont teddy bear.. so i sent him something as well.. Well May 2003.. My besat friends got married.. low and behold Tommy (the army guy) suprised me with 40 other people and came in for the wedding. We hit it off an I was so happy.. Thought i found the love of my life. Well.. September he called my mom and asked for my hand.. when he came home in November he planned on proposing.. So anywho... October comes and he brakes up with me.. tells me we could only be friends. Valentines day of 2004 rolls around and I go up to SC to see my best friends who got married the past may. They tell me about my ex.. how he was engaged to some other woman in November of 03 and was married by January of 2004. That killed me.. I never thought I could trust another guy again.. obviously i was deeply in love with him and he didnt feel as much as i did for him. I've moved on.. 7 months with my current boyfriend and I am in love.. of course in the back of my mind I will always worry about having the same problem here.. but all i can do is trust him and go with my feelings... which is love...

Blackwolf...thanks chick...I believe every word you say and thanks...love does suck...and believe me...I am in the military...I definately have access to guns and a firing range...ha ha ha. I got rid of every picture...so it's all good. |

I always asked people, "If there was ONE person in your life in which you trusted so dearly, that you were nearly vulnerable to them..and that person screwed you over, how do you know you can trust again? and whom?" I was stuck on that for the longest time, my biggest peeve is when people say, "i;m not like that, you can trust me." I wish they werent so ignorant to realize that phrases like those get repeated daily. Once again, actions speak louder than words.

From my knowledge and my expierence.. MOST girls wont say it till hey are good and ready. Took me along time to say it to Scott... But see I have friends (girls) who when they meet a guy will have sex witht hemr ight off the bat. Thats how she determines if she wants to continue anything...

I'm sure all guys have hurt or will hurt a girl here or there, unitentionally or not, once in a lifetime. Yes, though, don't classify them as ALL GUYS, because I know for damn sure mine is the absolute shit.
