BMW 330ci with exhaust and stickers and a s4 with the same :)

I was cruising the highway looking for races and happened to see a bmw with MPOWER ALL OVER IT and exhaust enter the highway. So i catch up and start baiting him by gunning and lifting and the COCK WONT RACE!! Finally we go around a turn and i am just slowing for him to catch up and he rices it past me full throttle. So i was like HEEEELLLLS no and hit 3rd once the turn stopped and started to try to catch up from his 10 car+ lead and im starting at 65mph. WELL, i hit 4th and hes still 10+ cars at about 85. By the end of 4th @110+ i start to fetch slowly and HES STILL IN IT THIS GUY IS NUTS! I THOUGHT HE WOULD SLOW FOR A LINEUP! I go to 5th and by 135 i pass him (i estimate about 5mph quicker than him just a light jog) and give a little toot (CANT HEAR IT THOUGH AT SPEED LOFL!) and wave to him and he furiously stands on it and flicks me off. I laugh as i pull a car on him and shut down cause of turns, of course THE BEAMA FLYS PAST WITH ITS FURIOUS MPOWER (LIKE A TYPE R on a EX) and i just laugh. Then off the merge ramp i hear WOOOOOOOOOOO PPPppppsssssshhht i look over and a S4 with exhaust and stickers and shit plays fetch up with the 330ci, so i nail it and try to hang but the s4 was a bit quicker and they were nuts. Going around corners at 135+mph while i was lifting, so i wait till i get a straightaway and flash the s4, he stops and obliges my 3 fingers (signaling 3rd beep) with a nod and a smirk, 1, 2 and he guns it on 2 i didnt move and he slows and lines up again... lofl i just laughed and did it again and we left even at 70mph by the 4th shift @85mph i had a car (**** THAT SPOOL SHITE ),
BUT! by the top of 4th i had like a car and a half... WTF!! i was nervous for a second because i didnt think a awd up to speed would hang like that (IF NOT CATCH UP :O) and i didnt pull him hard , but i WAS pulling. Traffic was ahead and i slowed because of having only front brakes. I roll down my window and give him thumbs up. I was suprised i dunno what would happen in OD 5th gear but i think it would be interesting... WHAT DO THOSE THINGS RUN STOCK ANYWAY LIKE 14.5's?? musta had a chip intake and boost controller er sumthing fierce i was suprised that once i hit 4th i didnt jump at all just inched a tad.

From what I've seen they run low 14s stock with the 6-speed... not too shabby for a damn nice luxury sedan

With the mods you listed: Chip, intake, boost controller, it wouldn't suprise me to see it mid 13s. Oh and The S4 has mad aerodynamics... something like .26 : for those of you who don't know abt this, the lower number of drag the better. Something to compare to- the Supra has a drag coeffecient of .32

whatever works my freind i dont take passengers with me oftend though, i barely trust the car, let alone taking someone else along

hopefully though since i got the hookup at my race shop ill be putting a 347 kit in and throwing a different intake in to accept carb, then all i gotta do is get a different distributor and fuel pump and carbed it is, NO MORE ****ING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AND SHITE!

lower isnt always better. downforce creates traction. drag creates downforce if directed properlyand below 140mph, your not gonna notice too much between .26 and .32

Exactly and my stang is at .34 for the gt model so without the fogs i dunno but then we get into the SMOOTH SLEEK STYLING OF THE 88 CHEROKEE PIONEER! TOP SPEED AERODYNAMICALLY LIMITED TO DOUBLE DIGITS! but goes like hell to 95!

full exhaust, intake, and 3.73's out back, 500 bucks... in parts.. traction keeps me in mid 13's but the mph is 105

do you even know what kind of motor the s4 has? sorry but a mustang 5.slow wont beat a v6 twin turbo s4. and like you said, how you even know, it has a chip, sorry wont happen today or tomorrow with your mods. i can see your point of bad drivers but on the freeway everybody knows how to hold a pedal down.

look at the race weight tart 260flywheel horse (AND YOUR BELOVED TWIN TURBOCHARGED AWD TERROR HAS THE SAME!) plus MORE TQ AVAILABLE QUICKER + BETTER GEARING + ROUGHLY 1000 POUNDS LESS = D o m i n a t i o n

stock they do mid 14's my car does 13.5@105mph <---- look see that mph...... thats much better than the 99mph s4, Y you ask.... because the AWD system sucks for trap speeds... off the line is nasty but trapping sucks, and EVEN IF ITS ONE OF THOSE SYSTEMS THAT TRANSFER POWER ONLY WHEN NEEDED I STILL GOT HIM IN EVERY CATEGORY, even mpg.... shit I GET 20mpg CITY cause my cars so light. I TOOK .4 TENTHS OFF MY 1/4 MILE WITH JUST FREE MODS ALONE, I WENT UNDER THE HOOD PULLED SOME COOLANT LINES TO THE THROTTLE BODY ADJUSTED TPS, ADVANCED TIMING, and trapped at over 100mph, stfu and get a life s4's are EASILY BEATABLE, i even take awd turbo eclipses out of the hole.... SPINNING, well at least the slow ones here.

now you want to forget about the chip and other mods to the s4
right....

ok the s4 has 250 hp 258 tq and runs a 14.1 1/4mile a 0-60 5.5, stock. and when is mpg a performance issue. oh and dont even look at what a chip would do to this car. see buddy the numbers are there. you have ford engerniring for 1988. but the s4 should beat you, look at the price tag, im not saying your cars not fast what im getting at is your stories are a little far fetched to the people who know, now it may fool a high school kid, but thats because they will belive anything they here. but i love all kind of cars and study them like carzy. plus my my uncle used to be a drag racer back in the 70s for gary densham, you jhon force team.

13.5 beats 14.1......from a roll was the race? even so..the stang will pull on his ass with those numbers...all his torque is at lower rpms....with good traction hes gone...off the line..roll...anything...its not a stock stang here...simple mods = huge horse for those cars...
