'90 Accord

Would anyone be able to reccomend a Honda repair shop in North Jersey? Also, I'm told that there are some basic modifications that can be made -- involving after-market air filters, I believe -- to improve the car's performance. I'm probably the only person in this forum who doesn't know about these things, but would someone out there be able to clue me in? I appreciate the help.

Some basic modifications, including the exhaust system. For instance do these sparkplugs I keep reading about really make that much of a difference in performance? How about the air filters?

the spark plugs make a minimal difference in horse gain.. barely any at all...intakes give u some...u need to do it all at the same time to feel the gain...like a AEM cold air intake, plugs, wires, exhaust system (usually 2 and a 1/4 inch), headers, things like that....then u'll really feel the difference

usually sparkplugs don't offer any gains in power but you will notice better throttle mileage, better gas mileage and smoother shifts.
