i hit a jetta from behind like 5 months ago, not entirely my fault, kind of suspicious when she has 3 accidents in 3 months. Then about 4 days ago some women backed into me and tore my bumper off.

in new jersey its TOTALY your fault as i suspect it is in most states, as you have to be TOO close even IF the person in fron tof you is intentionaly trying to get you to hit them..

and actually being 100 feet back is quite a bit of distance don't you think. considering everyone in front of her and including her all slammed on their brakes, and i had to do the same, i was not too close. Not having anti-lock brakes on a oil slick road produces some problems when trying to grind to a dead stop from 60

too close for what??? you OBVIOUSLY were...
you could not stop in time thus being too close... too close being defined as not adequate stopping distance..

You're a retard...

A. following distance is determined by time not feet...

If you're doing 120 100 feet CERTAINLY is not enough... hell even at 60 100ft isn't enough... it's a MINIMUM of 3 seconds.

B. Those distances INCREASE when it's wet or "oil soaked" out...

C. Telling people you went "just over 15" and not mentioning that this was you "counting in your head"... is about as dumb as you can make yourself sound.
1. a 15.01 and a 15.3 are TOTALLY different times in REAL 1/4 mi times...
2. A stop watch or your "sharp as a ball" mind are NOT accurate means of guaging your cars performance much less 1/4 mi. times.
3. I feel dumber having read 90% of what you have said.
