Honda radiator coolant

I recently bought this type 2 coolant from a local honda dealer because it was only about 3 bucks, and I thought my a/c would get alot colder. My A/C isnt that cold compared to my brothers civic. So I bought the coolant and put it in. My reserve and coolant tank was full except one of em was half way, so I just put in the coolant to fill it up without taking out the coolant that was inside already. After that I blasted the a/c and it didnt get cooler. Does anyone know how to make my a/c cooler? should i take out the coolant then put in the new one in?

Please tell me your not talking about adding coolant to your radiator in order to get your AC colder..........

I believe he is...

Coolant doesnt make the A/C colder. Coolant is for the motor so it doesnt overheat/freeze. I hope you mixed it w/ equal part of distilled water.... If you didnt do that...drain it all out and start over.

If you want colder a/c you need to get it recharched at an a/c shop (no, you shouldnt/cant do it yourself).

I also hope you didnt fill the reserve tank all the way. "Max" fill is about 3/4 of the way up the tank. Remove some if you did fill it to the brim.

its an overflow tank
when the car heats up it puts fluid into the tank. Now that its all the way full you'll get coolant all over the engine, road, everywhere
suction some out before tomorrow

The only thing that will get your A/C cooler is Frion...when you go to an automotive shop...they'll hook your car up to this machine to test something and then they'll hook you up with some frion...also, when you accelerate...the A/C gets cooler...like if you're on the hiway doing like...60 MPH...versus you sitting at a red light for 5 minutes...
