engine rebuild

I have a 91 Accord with 214,xxx miles on it. It had a fresh rebuild on it when I bought it about 2 months ago. I was going to get the SOHC Vtec from a later accord, but I was wondering if I could pull the head off the Vtec and put it on a 94-97 non-Vtec engine and put that in my car. If possible how difficult would it be?

I don't think the oil drain lines line up, among other things. You'd be doing that for a 10-15 hp gain at the most. I really don't think its worth it. Really the only good Accord swap is the H22A.

get a h22. it's a nicer gain plus it should be about the same price as swapping the head and doing all the custom work
