Welcome to HS! I strongly suggest looking at putting an H22A into your Accord with the $3000... You might need to save a few more bucks, but it would be well worth it.

i have the tools have the money for the H22a but am not sure if i want to ........i was planning on buying more minor parts now and then get a better honda with a better engine already. but still take everything i buy now and put on the new one....so specific idea's for exhaust, CAI, turbo maybe? things like that.

If you get a new honda with a diff. engine, the CAI, exhaust, etc. won't work with it. My advice is to get what you want for this car, and then just sell it when you get a new one. What other car are you considering?

.1 liters. 2.2 and 2.3 liters. both prelude engines. the 22 has more options. but the h23 still can do very well.

Hey, Welcome to Hondastyle...

Don't much about engine swaps or accord mods, but I would say get want you want now, w/ a 91 accord as trade in and 3k down you can get a nice car! Don't Worry ... Be Happy ! ... Don't stick yourself with too big of a car payment at 16 though.. i made that mistake !
