I'd never really thought much about having kids...I'm not particularly fond of them if I have any responsibility for their well being. My mother had always strongly urged me not to have children but I always figured I'd never do it anyway. Until now I never really bothered to check out the chances I'd pass on my "syndrome" (I hate that word...it's depressing) to a child...then I read this . It's fucked up...from reading the description it sounds like I got just about the worst I could've gotten. I've got enough bullshit in my own life...I don't wanna chance screwing up someone else's life who doesn't even see it coming.

Side note: It's kind of disturbing to see something you have listed on a website called "www.rarediseases.org". You'd think they could've named it a little more tactfully.

I didn't read the links, but bear with it man.....nobody is perfect. Your intellect is far beyond that of 99.9% of peole on this planet....take comfort in that which you have.

Me, personally, I feel bad raising kids in these times...I feel like I'd be raising kids that are destined to failure.....mayb more elaboration on this at a later date.
