MODS as of now:
--AEM Cold air intake --Short shifter --Zigen exhaust system (everything except the cat.) that will shave maybe .2 or .3 off your 1/4 mile those are the only mods that help, your rims may actualy offset this and keep it right at stock MODS coming soon: --Under drive pullys --Fuel regulator --Spiral max <------whats that? --New plugs and wires <-----wont help unless your old ones are bad --2 12 inch subs <------extra weight --Sway bars i'd say you should invest in a greddy turbo kit. its cheap considering the gains

With mods in sig, not very fast. And ditch that spiral max (is that the thing you put in your intake? )

Adding an FPR (which you probably don't need) and pulleys won't gain much power at all from what you have. You probably won't notice. The Spiral Max is a gimmic and a waste of money. That is the general concensus.

your air will funnel the way it needs to in the intake by its self.

lmfao @ Spiral Max.
The rims will offset the extra power by adding more weight. Unless however you go with a lite weight rim, i'm rolling 10lbs. As for the 12's, huge box, the amp you'll need, 1 or 4 AWG wire, new alternator, 1 or 2 farad capacitor, and maybe some other shit. <----I do sound systems profrssionally, this is the right way to do it. This is going to add a shit load of weight to the car. The free HP from the Fuel Reg and UnderDrive is a good idea.

See, i don't relly care about being fast in the quarter mile, because imports aren't really dragsters....if i wanted to be fast in a straight line, then i'd buy a cobra, or some muscle car.
But the main thing is that i can accelerate decently, and am quick....civic, with the right suspension, and mods on the engine, are quick cars. So, i think i should try to et the most flow through my car, and try to get free HP from the pullys, and fuel reg. and i gotta have my sound system, hehe....when i get my GTI VR6 'll be fast in a straight line, and on curves...if i tune it right. so, thnc for all the imput... And i have motegi MR7;s 16 inch...i don't exactly know how heavy tyhey are, but they're racing wheels? OPAKRACING |

Lol, i will be fast...hah
How can my rims bring me fastness down? lol My cars gunna be damn quick when i'm dun with it, with all the stuff i have down there on it. nothing can really reduce it back to stock fastness....thats pretty low, i'd have to have like lead weights in the back or somthin. |

lead weights=speakers
aftermarket rims(bigger than stock) move the weight of rotational mass outward using more tq to spin the wheels. and since motegi dosnt exactly make light rims, they are quite a added amount of rotational mass. i got 16lb racing harts, they are lighter than my 18lb stock 15's but the 15's do better on the drag strip cause of the amount or rotational mass

4thgenlude, you spent your hard earned cash on some R.H wheels and when you go to the track you put your stock wheels on? Do you take out your seats and your system too? I don't mean to come of rude. Me, I'm not into making my civic super fast or even to the point where I'd take it down the quarter mile. I do give you props on your swap and your ride overall and others who have the loot, time and desire to do what they want to their own ride. My point is, I can't help but shake my head at those who take their cars; street cars; to the track and take a lot of stuff out to reduce wheight, drag and put their stock wheels on. Don't these people want to know what their car does in a real driving situation. I'm sayin that what, you're shavin .01-.02 seconds off your time by going back to stock? Do you really feel better getting that quicker?

BTW, don't say why you wastin your money on performance parts because I would put $$$ down that most honda/ civic / sport compact car owners in general aren't out their to make their ride a 10 second car.
It's all in the name of customizing. Wasting $, you take off your RACING heart wheels to RACE down the track. Who's wasting $$??? |

Actually, going back to stock wheels, etc. will gain you more time than that. As for swapping wheels, some people like to see what the maximum performance of their car is. Some people don't race on the street, so they don't care what times they put out in street trim.
