guilty

I'm feeling guilty looking at cars outside of the honda/acura community ha....it just seems everyone's doing the same thing. We all know we could do any engine transplant and with the time and money...anyone can do it realistically...I want power speed...and can we get it from these cars....sure....but..i don't know I guess.....just been looking around 300zx....supra..and i'm sure anyone and everyone could tune these to the fullest too..maybe I just haven't seen or heard about it as much..i dont know much about cars...and am first learning about honda/acuras....was wondering if anyone knows more.....what years are more appealing...or what other cars should I be looking at...I don't have the money now so i guess i want to read and learn outside of the honda world.....so i know what i want when i'm ready for it

But a civic with 5k of upgrades that'll out perform a porsche is something I'd like to be driving.

Honda ownz the small motor industry. If you want more power and design you will be looking around, but the end all be all of cars would be BMW. They make the best cars in my mind.

i feel honda ownED the small motor industry in america, and only in america, they have lost alot of the performance aspects of their cars that they once had. in other countries they offer more, but so do other companies, and well, the other companies offer ALOT more for very cheap. they are just setting standards and making cars that sound good on paper. i think that as far as japanise cars go, nissan and toyota builds drivers cars, mitsu kinda does their own thing, and honda builds cars for magazines

hmm honda might own the small motor and it's a fun car to drive yet, but i that's not what i'm looking for anymore. i want awd and want more balls in the car. subaru is perfect for that. they are a bit expensive but it's worth having one. i'm saying that as an ex subaru owner. and i must say subaru is the best in awd in the world for passanger cars. beats bmw xi's and all the others

subaru just rubs me the wrong way.... nice performance and all but the cars are finished poorly. I feel like i'm sitting in a toy in a WRX. Not too mention I'm not the only one that thinks their motors sound funny after 50k

It would take a lot more than 5k to outperform a nice porsche.

a bmw for me at this point in time would be like the sunday driver....church car or something....I still want the sporty compact for goin out....and still able to tune...
300ZX's early 90's are decently priced....supra's are really expensive and the old ones are ugly as shit. I think I know off my head it'll be impossible to get a skyline....and rx7's who knows....not sure if i like the body there.....300zx is gettin my vote....and then maybe a 90 civic HB project car lol...

300zx. I priced it out and everything. The one factor that killed me was insurance.

i am looking at a 300zx now actualy, its basical everything im looking for in a stock car. 4 pyston calipers, 300hp, leather, comfortable, very good handling, decent storage room, engine with tq and top end, the styling has grown on me. for my next car im either looking for something to mod the piss out of (ae86 or 240) or somehting i can buy, maybe put some strut bars and bump the boost and be done with it, just drive around and enjoy myself. the insurace guy would replay to me "well for that car we have many different positions.. i mean plans that you have with this car"

yeah i'm sure insurance will be a hit for being 19 and having an accident...but if you truly got a car you want to drive you'll do what it takes....
Chris i just can't see me in the 240SX.....it seems styled really differently then the 300ZX.....I don't know shit about the ae86.....what years or what you lookin at for that?

the ae86 was the mid-late 80's corrollas, its not the prettiest car, but its got more potential than you can imagine
