I don't have a link to a guide or anything, but its VERY easy. Maybe a 10-15 minute install.

Remove your console and stuff so you can see the linkage. Disconnect the cable running to the stick. Put the adapter on the stick and reconnect the cable to the adapter.

Bingo... you're short shifting now

Sorry about being slow on the reply. Glad that it made a big difference for you.
If anyone needed a how-to in the future, although it is for a 6th Gen Accord.

I do have one question, there are 3 settings I can put it...would the shortest throw be on the setting farthest away or closest to the front

Did you get the B&M? That's what I used to have and it had 3 settings. Anyway, its the hole that is furthest toward your dash. Imagine the cable is in a fixed position (i.e. in neutral). If you want the stick closer to you, the cable will align with the furthest hole AFAIK.

thanks bro
I'm not trying to confuse anyone but...
I played around with it today and I think I may of noticed something.....when I have it closest to the dash it seems gears 1-3-5 are shorter than the 2-4...when I put it in the one closest to me it seems that 2-4 where shorter than 1-3-5
so is it possible that that if I put it in the middle setting all gears will be even?.....oooorr am I getting dillusional?

Hrm, I think you're dillusional

The throw distance from gear 3-->4 should be identical to 4-->3. All you are doing is slightly altering the neutral position setting...

I'd like to know also. I'm running the PSpec full shifter (C's clone more or less), but I'm not that happy with the lever height...
