What tires are right ?

I have a 98 Civic DX and I right now its got the crappy stock tires and stock wheel covers...I want to put some Konig 17 inch rims on but i want some low pro. tires too. What size tries will fit my car ? Anyone got any pics of low pro's ? Thanks.!

well depending on the roads you travel would depend slightly on the profile..if you have really rough roads then a 45 series would be good. as w/ rough roads and pot holes etc and the lower profile the chance of bending and messing up a rim are good.

if road conditions are good then go w/ a 35-40 series for a nice low rubberband look.....I hope this might help but I'm sure you will receive further info...

If my calculations are correct, then a 40 series tire on 17" rims is gonna be the closest to the stock size (OD of tire). This will keep your vehicle speed sensor somewhat accurate (although it is all ready optimistic, as are all Hondas). Of course, like this guys says, if you have bumpier roads, a higher series will help a lot.

go with 40 series but be careful when you drive around potholes
