POFS cd player

my cd player desided to kinda crap out on me, i cannot figure out for the life of me what it is, ok... heres the symptoms:

turn the car on, it flips around like normal (kenwood dmask+) then the screen flashes on for a brief instant then off, music plays normaly for 12-15 seconds, none of the buttons work, then after the 12-15 seconds it flips half way down like its gonna eject the cd, but shuts off and stays like that. i have an amp and sub in the trunk, and i havnt completly ruled that out, cause i didnt have the tooks to disconnect the power, ground, or remote. but i dont think that could cause it.

Try disconnecting the harness at the back of the head unit and plug it back in. If that doesn't work, time to look into another cd unit.
