Vtec Controller

A buddy of mine was telling me that I should get a Vtec Controller. Does anyone currently use one of these or has anyone heard of them? If so, are they worth the hassle and what exactly do they do?

Will they actually give more horsepower?

Any info anyone can give me is helpful. Hints, Tips, Advice, Comments.... just let me know. Thanks in advance

I am not sure really if it will increase your horses but i do know that you can change your v-tech point, like when it kicks in. I just bought one and am going to install while i am putting my H22 in. If you get one get the Apexi you'll be impressed, i know i was

well if you don't have many mods it's pretty much worthless.

Well I've got a CAI, Headers, exhaust and 21/4" piping all the way back. Is it worth getting the Controller still?

Well if you would get a high flow cat and a fpr in addition with your i/h/e you could see a 10-12 hp gain. Sure its not much, but it will make a difference. And having something that can tune the car will be a lot helpful. you just have to get it retuned every time you add a mod that effects air, fuel, or spark.

i have a v-tech controller but am going to install it once I get my H22 in my car. but whenever you put a mod on your car you hae to get it re-tuned. why is that? is it something you can do by your self and do it take long to do?
