Either one will work... I ran 205/40/17s on my 17x7.

im pretty sure 215's will rub, even with say a +45 offset.....your best bet is 205's, any chance you can find out what the offset is on the wheels by contacting the company or wherever you got them from?
this kid i know had 215's on his 96 EX, and the offset on his wheels was +42 and jeez, we put my arospeed springs on his car which was like a 2.5" drop, they rubbed over every single imperfection in the road ESPECIALLY with passengers. gah it was horrible.

I'm 98% sure 215 will not rub with a 45+ offset, lowered 2.0in..

But you dont really need 215, so get 205.. And even with a 42+ offset you'll be able to drop 2.0+ inches.

Take it easy with them smilies..

I have 205 50 15 on OZ F1 plus wheels with about a 1.75" drop and with out a -2.0 camber thay rub. but I need to find what the offset is so when I decide to step up to 16" or 17" I have no problems.

Yes for a civic.

What was the offset of your rims?

Did you have a proper camber stting?

Anyways, if all is right, it shouldnt rub.
