exhaust break in period

hey is there a "break in period" on exhausts? I just installed my thermal stealth and it sounds great but it seems kinda too loud.. it might just be me getting used to it though.
thx

thats how all exhausts are, other than ws and stock...oh and mugen twin loop

The smell should go away within 2-3 days depending on how much you drive it. Its not that bad...I kinda miss it

I kind of like that smell...... If that is a decent exhaust system, the sound at high RPM should get deeper as the materials in the muffled area get warm to form a more solid exhaust gas path
