first race in a long time
ook so me and friend are heading up to a party, driving seeperatly mind you and we stop at a light after fucking with eachother for alittle bit and also this street is nearly abandoned nand no one was anywhere to be seen, luclkliy that means cops too. He has 2k4 golf 2liter, btw. We stop and of course we have a bond thingy where we know whether or not we r gonna race. so the light turns green and we are off, no screech oft he tires just aperfect take off for us both. first gear im a little up on him because i happeen to get a beter reaction than him and really fast shifting but for the most part we were even. 2nd gear he pull ahead of me by the length of about a fender, i had topush my engine running at 6k rpm until I finally pull ahead of him, third gear i continue ato pull ahead, and 4th gear I had about a carlength ahed of him and i decided to shut it down because we were coming to a known cop spot. I flash my emergency blinekers cause i thout it woutld be funny acuse we laiugh at everyone who doesit. and then I harrased him
of course my car does have aapprox. 30 more horse than his but I was amazed that he gained so much in 2nd gear, stupd lightweight hatchbacks  btw im drunk so excue my tyoping

nahhh no pucky for me, but I have this horrible headache now lol
thats the most fun...my two other friends on the other hand want to race me but to hell with that cause one owns a 2k1 v6 accord (he's on this site as Evahak311) and my other friend has a 96 Lexus SC300 and I think I'm completely outmatched by those engines

and only when the conditions are right, im not a big fan of street racing if you couldnt tell my prior posts but this was perfect, open straight, no cops, one car was behind us(another friend), no body walking the street, perfect perfect perfect. most times I refuse to race my friends

Once me and a friend of mine were on a back road in Mississippi (go figure)...he has a Mustang Bullitt with a few mods and wanted to race me just to see what my Accord could do...I didn't want to race him because I knew he was gonna hand me my ass but he and my passenger egged me on so I said screw it and we lined up. Well, I had him off the line...until his tires stopped spinning and then I got a lovely view of his taillights....it was fun though........

my friends havent raced me yet, butts. id only race if i knew the circumstances tho like darin said. half of my friends dont have their license yet wahts up with that

Same, I just turned 17...most of my friends are just getting their lincenses though cause im a sophmore thats 17. No I didn't get held back...my parents had me do an extra year of preschool but ya. I've also only driven a stick for like a week and a half or so so I haven't raced anyone yet. Once I get quicker off the start though one of my friends has the same car as me, just with nice wheels and lowered and it has new headers but I've got more driving experience then him...we may race around a bit. Then my other friend has a civic, we may race around a little bit too but hes got an automatic

I'm surprised that 2.0 had anything on you. Those things are DOGS. I remember test driving one a while back. I made to the exit of the dealer's lot and said "No thanks. Get me that 1.8T".
Damn old people... lol Hell I feel old when I go out to the cuises anymore. Damn lil punks & their cars.

haha well my car is only a 2.2 i4 SOHC i do have about 30 more hp and torque
it's pretty good for the vw, i mean off the line he can stay up with me but after that it's mostly downhill for him he raced a few civics (non si's obviously) and will normally beat them, they have about the same power output i think
