HELP... i found a turbo for my honda accord 2000 4cyl.. then f24a4 i beleive.
what i was wondering is if it was why. i know this isnt the stongest engine that honda have produced. and i was wondering if i should change my pistons and cam shaft etc or should i just do an engine swap then turbo. I dont really have the money for both so is it wise to get turbo for this engine.

your engine is a f23, Fmax makes a kit for it. keep the boost low(6-10psi) and you dont need to upgrade the internals. upgrade the internals and then you can boost more.

it all depends on how much you will be boosting. i'd say a 8psi is safe for the engine. a new cam might help also a bit in the power range, make sure it's cut for turbo apps

You can boost pretty much any motor as long as it is properly tuned. Keep the boost low and maintain it well, and you should be fine.

before you boost that engine, get a compression test first then let us know what you want to do. Peace....
