wheel offset

what offset should i get on my wheels i need to tuck the wheels so i don't want the wheel to stick out or it will rub.

A negative offset means the rim spokes convex inward towards the car, a positive offset means the rim spokes bulge outwards away from the car... hope this helps

highlander pretty much explained what an offset is. you can also go to www.tirerack.com for more detailed explanation and pictures.

as far as your car, i suggest a minimum of +40 offset. i'm using a set of rims with +42 offset and it doesnt give me any problems at all. i had a +38 offset before on a 17 with a coil over drop. it didnt last long.........
