Honda civic 2.0 I.T.D.

HI GUYS, this is my first post ok.

i have a civic its a diesel an its a european model 5 door hatchback . i was looking thgrough some honda forums an i came across a company called auto dynamic ( www.autodynamic.com) .
i rang this company from here ( england) the took ages like the fourth attempt to pick up the damn fone. When i asked about the light he could not even make out my accent never mind what car i had.MY POINT IS my headlamps and ( european ) and i would like to know if i bought headlamps from your country could i install them on my car here in the uk.If so does anybody here PERSONALLY deal with a company in america ( not a idiot like the company listed above) i would like to hear from someone with some basic grasp of panel beating( panel fabrication) too.http://209.87.151.155/search_results.asp?iLevel=1&txtsearchParamCat=ALL& txtsearchParamMan=ALL&txtsearchParamVen=ALL&txtsea rchParamType=ALL&txtFromSearch=fromSearch&txtsearc hParamTxt=angel+ring

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you talking about the headlight bulbs or the whole headlight assembly?

If you're talking about the bulbs themselves, Honda has used the same ol' H4 bulb for years. You guys might call them a 9003 or HB2. In America, we have to conform to certain inferior 'standards' which simply means, our H4 bulbs suck compared to what's available elsewhere in the world.

If you're talking about the whole headlight assembly... I believe you're driving a Swindon model. We generally drive HAM models. The only Swindon Honda that we get here is the 'new' Si [3-door version of your car], and they are few and far between. Furthermore, I'm 99.999% sure the headlight assemblies are completely different than what we have here.

So, either way, I would guess you're out of luck. Maybe someone else knows...

Thanks for the reply

i was refearing to the complete assembly ( see link) and not to the bulb.

I'm sure the lights are the same maybe the angle of the beam may differ ( you guys drive on the rigth for some reason) .

also i know that the flaming model that i drive is Xsive to the uk market ( god know's why) and i thought maybe with a little fabrication i could get them to fit.

Also how do you post a pic as ure Signiture ( like you have)

Steps to get there:
  • User CP>Edit Profile>Signature
Add some HTTP and/or vB code and 'Submit Modifications'.
