id rather get those then fix springs, maybe the springs will fix the creeking noise. If it doesnt, I'll just get new shocks at the auto shop because they said they can get me two rear shocks for cheap.

maybe you should total your car, take the insurance money, and buy a bicycle
public transportation is always a plus also.

Cheap shit is bad
fix it right or dont bother Didnt we talk about that issue before? Look....dont buy ANYTHING. Save some money (or sell your ps2...whatever) And get your car looked at. Now you can either be stubborn and say "I'll just buy shitty shocks and springs hoping that it will solve my problem. But in reality I will waste more money in the long run because I bought bad parts" - shocks will blow quickly and the springs will sag (if they arent already) Or you can take a breath, relax about buying n2o, a venom chip, springs, shitty shocks, a v2 intake, a used aem cai..and whatever else Im forgetting and take your shit in to have a pro look at it, since you dont even know for sure that you can install an intake by yourself. (Im not saying anything else to you about your issues...do whatever you want after this point - I dont care. Ive tried to help and you just wont listen to reason since youre already set in your ways) |

Sell your car to someone who has some sense. There is no point at all in trying to mod a car that isn't in good condition. Get everything that is broken fixed THEN worry about modding. I was about to start modding my Volvo (I'm serious, don't laugh) when my 3rd gear syncros went, so I'm selling it and got the Civic.
You need to look onlune and either get one of the Hayes Manauls for your car or just read online how-to's to learn something about it. Fix what's broken damnit.

For your information, you don't need to be a rocket scientist in order to install an intake. Whose being stubborn? my car doesnt need new shocks right away, the ride is still tight. Maybe the shocks arent my #1 priority right now because the car is still smooth. Besides gold line springs website says it wont sag. its only a 1.5" drop

please god, tell me he didn't say that. ok here's an easy answer to you umm i guess you could call that a question... How many tires are on your car? that's how many shocks you need. remember you get what you pay for. remember the pyramid.... cheap + good= not fast cheap+ fast= not good fast+ good= not cheap

With Knoi's you can have th ecar set, without spring, real still and eliminate a lot of body roll. It will track strighter, smoother, and more predictably. You can adjust the stiffness too. If you want to stay cheap replace the one shock with a OE shock, and even then that one wheel will be stiffer.
Yes you can change just two shocks out with the Knoi's, but it'd be like putting two R compound slicks anginst your rock hard 100,000 tires, you might have two really sticky tires but you will still spin pretty easy because you have those two rock hard tires on there. Basically I'm saying you need all four. What you really need to do is calm down. You want immediate results that you can't afford when what you need to do is wait and save until you can afford them; you'll be much happier that you did. I've never seen that pyramid, the one I'm used to is "light, strong, cheap; pick two", but that's more cycling related.
