A few months ago I had the rare displeasure of having my Teg full of passengers (me and 3 other people). I hate having more than 1 passenger because extra weight kills my pulling power (low torque).
Anyway, I was cruisin' down Main St. in Huntington Beach (hotspot) and pulling onto PCH when a Subaru RS of the turbo variety and a Civic SI pull up next to me. My windows are tinted so they couldn't see my 2 back passengers which killed any racing ability my car has......so the guy in the Subaru looks over, says something to his chick sitting next to him, and says something to me about a "couples" race. I'm assuming he saw the chick sitting next to me, so for laughs I raced, but I tried to tell him it would be not contest since I got 2 peeps in the back, but his window was up because the light turned green. We went, and I kept up decently but he won, and the Civic SI pulled about even with me. At next light he saw I had 2 more people in the back and was a gracious winner, we yelled Peace and went on our respective ways.
Later that night me and just the chick were cruising on over to Starbucks and my friend was riding next to us in his sweet Eclipse. A black GSR w/ some mods revved, and we all gunned it at the light. Me and eclipse quickly pulled ahead of GSR and I ended up pulling ahead of my friend (was there any doubt?)

Later that night, just for good measure a red 2nd gen Teg w/ a VTEC swap pulled up next to me and threw some good natured revs. The lady riding with me said "smoke 'em!" so we did a rolling launch and more or less kept even............being that I had 3 races and 5 individual cars that I raced that night, it was a good night because i never get hit up to race, and usually never race even when hit up.

whats your car and mods? sounds like a good night, just be caureful about street racing.

Oops, I used to have my mods up but I remade my listing and forgot to list mods.....anyway, here goes:
AEM CAI
DC headers
Greddy SP exhaust
Cam Gears
Dual Friction clutch
Lightweight flywheel
A'PEXi S-AFC
ignition timing tweaked
(turbo soon)

Suspension wise I have various strut bars and lowered and tires and lightweight racing wheels

some stereo stuff too. I guess it doesn't seem like a lot but when putting a few things on at a time it seems like a good deal of stuff, especially money wise

As far as street racing goes, I maybe race twice in a whole year, and that's usually at 2 in the morning when some guy pulls up next to me(this 3 races in one night was a first for me, and probably a last). Freeway on ramps are different story though because you have to accelerate to get on freeway.
I take my racing to the track though......safer and don't have to worry about cops and more precise.

LS or GRS? im guessing ls because of the s-afc

Yeah it's an LS. People put down the LS too much, it's a good engine IMO. GSR engine is cool too though!

I don't usually race on the streets, especially when I have passengers with me because I am responsible for them as well. I hardly ever get hit up to race anyway (is it because they think they can't beat me?! lol).
That night though I was in a mood for some excitement and the roads we raced on were empty so it was fun and relatively safe.
