^agreed thats a huge target for a civic.

you can 1: turbo and upgrade basics costing around 3-4K
you can 2: Swap a bigger motor into your civic
you can 3: sell the civic for a faster car!

a corvette might be hard to beat but i have the si version of the civic (mine is a 2002) with vtec.

i can spend up to about $5000 now and i could get more in 2 months because i get paid well. i have a CAI and have already set aside money for exhuast so dont count that in the $5000

so you have an Si...and you can spend 5k? sounds like a turbocharger is in order...it'll get you close to beating vettes...and Im pretty sure you can beat that 95 vette with a turbo Si....pick up a Drag kit and you'll be smashn.

build your internals and turbo. Since you drop some cash in it, go with a stand alone management. Even if you just slap a turbo on that Si without building and decent mangamenet, your 02 Si will not get close to a Vette. Go to the track, you'll see some boosted Hondas (DOHC) still getting their ass handed to them by Vettes..... it's a reality. Hondas are not fast eventhough I have 3 of them.....
