my antifreeze looks like cappuchino

i just got my swap a couple of weeks ago and today and i saw was chaniging my damn antifreeze and my antifreeze looked like cappuchino, what can be causing that?

do a complete flush of the system and put new antifreeze in it. run it and check it. probably just crap in the swapped in engine.

use honda antifreeze, nothing else.

oh, one more thing, my engine is running a wee bit hotter about 1/8th hotter on the gauge. other than my antifrezzze what else canb be the problem? oh and should i go 50/50 on antifrezze and water or more antifrezee than whater?

a bit more antifreeze....i think its a 70/30 mix for hondas...more AF than water. but dont quote me on that, ill check in the morning.

all hondas are 50/50. remember: too much antifreeze = high boiling point and your engine overheats, too much water = low boiling point(easily frozen = cracked engine = you be screwed)

like they said probly just some gunk in the new engine, but if not then sounds like a blown head gasket. just happend to me yesterday. sucks ass.

How much AF you use really depends on your climate. In the summer time, I run pretty much straight water. And in the winter 50/50 mix. Just flush it out really really good and put new stuff in and see what happens.

I don't risk it. Here in the midwest tempretures are weird. One day it can be summer weather, and the next it could get butt cold. I wouldn't want to run striaght water and then have it freeze. 50/50 all the time and no worries.

Like I said...it depends on your climate. I my area 9 months out of the year the temperature doesn't reach the 40's. 50/50 all the time and you won't have any worries, just hotter engine temps when you are sitting in 100 degree heat. Although, I swap engines like ppl change their underware so...that might have something to do with it...
