Hmm.. groupbuycenter has good prices on aftermarket kits usually.

How much do you want to spend? ~$300 will buy you a nice ACT setup.

Install isn't 500, its around 350-400 from honda. I'd look at an ACT street kit (organic disc, heavy duty pressure plate).

about 3 months ago i asked a shop how much it woudl cost to replace my clutch and the guy said like 800 for everything...i asked him if i got the clutch myself the install would be around 500 because of resurfacing the flywheel. U think it would be cheaper to have a dealer do it? i know of a good dealer but this shop is 1/4 mile from my school

I had mine done at the dealer for a little under 400... At least call them up and have them give you a quote over the phone.

Group Buy Center has some incredible deals, indeed. Shop around for cheaper prices on the clutch-swap. Go to some local import performance shops, they usually don't charge too much (compared to the dealership, where you're paying for ASE mechanics).

well my clutch finally went today! I was barely able to drive to the shop after work today. I am getting an act stage II clutch kit for $250 and $300 for the install including the resurfacing of the flywheel. I will let you guys know how the new clutch is when I get it back next week! If you have a good import shop near you have them check it out for you!

When you say stage 2, what components are you talking about? The 4 puck and extreme pressure plate?

I just got a call from my shop and my clutch was fine after all, it was the slave cylinder that they had to replace! I guess I'll hold off on the clutch a little while longer!

That's a common problem... happened to me and many others, but I had to replace the master and slaves.
