0-60 times

Hey guys,
I was just wondering what some of your 0-60 times were?
I was bored last night , and went out on wet snowy roads and tried some 0-60 times.
First try.......reved to 6K and let clutch slip...way too much wheel spin through first and about .5 seconds of wheelspin in second.- but got a 8.5 on that one
Second try I only let it spin at the top of first ( at about 6K it really started burning em ) anyway got it down to 7.0 seconds.
Third try almost no wheelspin through first gear, second gear I got about a second worth of spin in the shift, but my time was greatly improved! 6.5 seconds.
I can't wait to try this on Dry pavement! I think I might be able to get it down to 6 seconds.

On my g-tech, which isn't super accurate, I get around 8 flat. Sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower. Hopefully my clutch and new plugs will help that a little. I just use the g-tech as a comparison tool, because though it might not be super accurate, it is consistant.

Yeah, tell me about it. I was waiting for my clutch to arrive via fedex ground (slow as hell btw), and I checked the tracking on the net the day is was supposed to arrive. It said customer refused delivery, requests one week postponement. I called them and bitched them out, and they delivered it the next day. I have the worst luck with those things.

HAHA, NONONO, I have the worst luck with these things. When I first bought my car I ordered, camber kit, stageIV clutch, N1 exhaust, a couple gauges, super-AFC and ****ing fed. ex. lost IT. I had to call nopi and to get NOPI to resend me my shit. That way I could get my shit sooner instead of going through a LONG LONG claim with fed ex, Nopi did. Nopi was really good about it. Once they called fed ex and found out what i told them they sent my shit right away via UPS and i got it all in 3 days.

Its impossible to "clock" yourself by hand. A G-tech is consistant, though not super accurate, and going to a track is accurate. Other than that, you're just guessing.

I wasn't talking to you specifically, I was just saying that in general, that method isn't accurate. You can find a used g-tech for dirt cheap, so I'd recommend doing that if you really care about your times.

They are fun to mess around with, and I got one used for under $50 I think.

The HP readings are shaky, so I don't even use them, but the times are consistent, and give you a good baseline to tell if your mods help at all.

Maxvla, I got it from a memeber of this site when it first started.
