CAI Installation

I'm thinking about purchasing an AEM CAI for my 95 Civic. Is it necessary to remove the front bumper for installation? or the right front wheel? About how long should it take? Should I reset the ECU after installation for best performance?

THanks!

Yes, you should reset the ECU (though over time it will re-map anyway).

As for removing the wheel or bumper, I think that people say it makes it easier to remove the wheel, but I don't think you'll have to remove the bumper. In my Accord, we left the wheel and bumper on to install it.

To reset the ECU do you pull out the fuse labeled "ECU" for 10 minutes. Then put it back in and start the car and let it run for 10 minutes w/o touching the gas?

IS THIS RIGHT?

Another way to reset the ECU is to disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes...

I didn't remove the bumper or the wheel for mine. If you turn the wheel all the way to the right, that should give you plenty of working space.
