Should I be riding on these???

I haven't checked my tires in a LONG time and I should of, but anyways I glanced at them today and DAMN. My back 2 have good tread and seem fine, but my front 2 tires have NO tread!!! The tires aren't that old, maybe have 10 to 20k miles on them, but why could the tread be that bad for only the front tires??? And should I continue driving like this, because there is No tread, the front ones look like they're about to give in. HELP!!!

Well, if you have no tread, you shouldn't be driving on them... what kind of tires are they to go out in 10-20k? Is your car out of alignment?

If they get below the wear strips, you shouldn't be driving on them. If you've got no tread at all....then you're well below the wear strips.

Reasons they could be bald in the front and not the back? Maybe you like to smoke your tires frequently......? Cornering will wear your tires a little bit more, too, as will a poor alignment. That's one reason you rotate the tires every so often, to get more even wear throughout.

with all the above3 being said the fron tires will always be worn quicker than the rear. and if u look at any car the front always has a bit of toe in and some camber. my advice is to get the rear ones to the front.

Well, since I bought my car I've put 9K miles on it, and now it has about 48,000.....I have no idea what the previous owner did or what not. So Hondaman, or anyone, if I just rotate my tires and have the no tread ones on the back, isn't that still really dangerous??? I was planning on getting new rims & tires on my bday on may30, so I just need to know if I can last that long with 2 fawked up tires. I'm guessing the previous owner of my car, didn't rotate them or burned out a lot, because I've been easy on my tires, doesn't make any sense!!!

You've never rotated your tires??? Try to do it every 5k or so in the future. If you're looking for beater tires, sometimes tire shops will have some sitting around that they got in a trade. Spend a few bucks and put those on the rear until you get new wheels and tires.

I dunno about where you live, but in Austin one can buy used tires, and one can rent tires. I'm not sure if you can rent them for a month, though.

It will be dangerous having bald tires on your car, period, unless they're nice super slicks for the track.

If you're getting new wraps in a month, you can probably go a little longer on the bald ones....but it's dangerous and I wouldn't really recommend it to anybody. If you do, though, try real hard to avoid driving in the rain, esepecially if it hasn't rained for a while.

For the 6th gen Accords, they rotate the tires every 7500k. How frequently you rotate them is really up to you and how you drive. The more aggressive your driving, the more frequently I'd rotate them.

Thanks everyone, it seems that I'll be ordering my rims and tires this week due to this slight emergency and the shop down the street is going to loan me spares for a week so I should be fine. And yes, I never thought to rotate them, so as soon as I get my new ones I'm going to go in for alignment and then get them rotated every 5k. Thanks!!

Yes have it aligned after you put the tires on. New tires can through off alignment (if you switch sizes or width). Just have them align it right after they put the new tires on, some places even will do it for free if you buy a whole new set.
