I need a b16a1 longblock- no tranny, no ecu (unless you have a pwo). Best price I have so far is $475. I also need a B17 crank (unless you have the whole motor- that's even better). The best price I have on the crank is $925, new from Acura.

Hook a brother up?

You're telling me. I've seen two B17As in the last year, both about $2300. You can make a B17A shortblock out of a B16A shortblock for about $1400, since the deck heights are the same. The other thing is that the B17A has the best intake manifold for high RPMs. So ideally, I'd like to find a coplete B17A, but I have a feeling I'll be making my own out of a B16A. Keep an eye out for a crank for me, too.
