well this is my first post. i have a 98 civic dx coupe, with a really messed up front bumper. Honda gave me a quote for a primered bumper cover for $175. websites like carpartswhole.com and 4autobodyparts.com have the bumper for $50, but theyre charging $70 for shipping! so yea, i found an ebay auction for a 99-00 front bumper for $40 with $45 shipping, but im not sure if it will fit. its considered the same generation, but the 99-00 civics have more angular headlight housings. i may be willing to buy 99-00 black headlight housings also, but only if they will fit with the hood. does anyone know what will fit on my 98 civic?

HMmm... i'm not too sure.. thier the same generation.. but i wouldn't risk spending all that money without being sure..

Have you tried checkin your local junk yards. ??

do you want a honda front bumper or does it not matter?

Sorry to say that is won;t fit. I would suggest maybe looking on www.thepartstrader.com and see if you might be able to find one there...

thanks for the link to thepartstrader.com. what did u mean by honda bumper? i dont need for it to be from the factory, but i want to keep the stock look so i can get a lip for it. well maybe i should visit a body shop first tho. the thing is, my mounting holes are torn, and im not sure if i can repair that. well thanks for ur help everyone.
