the reason I asked is the cup holder is busted on mine and I want it fixed and you cant get the just the parts to fix it from the dealer and I don't want to have to try and color match it from a different interior color. one thing I got to wondering and I know it might be a dumb question but the console is the same wether its stick or automatic right

I might do it but the only thing with me is that its an early inheritince(sp?) from my grandmother and I don't want to hear her complain about what I did to it (even though I can possibly pass it of as having been there and she probably won't remember if it was or not)

not necessarly because she said to not spend any money on the car when I mentioned that I wanted to replace the front half of the console because of the busted cup holder and happened to mention how much the dealer would charge for it and replace the parking brake section with an armrest piece since I wanted one

the thing I was wondering with the audio console it just takes up the space where the ashtray etc is and back over the cup holders are right? it doesn't go into or requires the radio to be moved or does it

nope
its got an ashtray and cig lighter if you need it. if you really need a drink, i just wedge mine between the seat and Ebrake. But hte best part is that it makes it inconvenient somewhat to eat nad drink in car therefore keeping it cleaner, but if you wanan eat and drink you can, its jsut that mental placebo of havin to try that keeps me from doing anything...including homweork. It just adds a double DIN slot, and you can keep the factory up top, move the aftermarket to the bottom with the little CD holding thing, or whatever. Its great. My friend got a plate for his thats got nitrous switch and all on it.
