any tranny from a crx or civic of that generation (88-91) the si models will have the sportier tranns, though - better gearing

have you done any other research into this or is this the start?

this is basically the only research i have done. i didn't know where else to look because there aren't many resources... i'm going to check out a "you pull" junk yard tomorrow hopefully. should i look for the newest year, or just worry about the miles? and what else should i take besides the tranny, flywheel cluthc assembly, pedals, shifter? is the clutch hydraulic or cable actuated and should i take the center console or other interior parts..?

do a LOT more research before you run out and buy some crap that may not even fit in your car...

there are LOTS of resources for what you're looking for...

Search h-t or maybe even post a question in the ef section (you'll probobly just get told to search).

I'm SURE there are articals/write ups for exactly what you want to do.

for this im going to have to agree and suggest honda-tech.com and use their search feature...just asking will get you yelled at (they're not the friendiest forum...in fact the majority are assholes)

search using several different keywords, quotations, etc...dont just search once and give up...the info it there for sure

i'd get the tranny from a 6gen civic(not sure if this new 7th gen crap is the same as earlier civics). cause most any tranny from back then(88-91) is going to need some rebuilding.
